Young Africans aged 20 and below who have ideas for solving problems in their communities can apply for the Carnegie Challenge for Civic Leadership 2026/2027, an initiative offering funding of up to US$5,000 to support youth-led projects that create positive social change.

Organised by Ashoka Changemakers, the challenge welcomes young people with new ideas or existing projects that encourage civic participation, address community problems and mobilise others to take action.
